Ernest Jones, Lead Pastor
Ernest, along with his wife of over 30 years, Jeanna, joined Community Church of the Hills in the lead pastor position in June 2024. Ernest has many years of experience in the lead pastor role! He received his BA in Philosophy at Baylor University and his Masters of Divinity with Biblical Languages at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Ernest and Jeanna have two children and just welcomed their first grand baby in June 2024!
Ernest says: “I surrendered to the call to vocational ministry as a freshman at Baylor University. From that day forward I have been pursuing and living in that calling. My passion is to spend the rest of my life focused on making disciples.
Cary-Mason Stratton, Music Ministry
Cary-Mason is a former member of the Motion Pictures Editors Guild who worked at Paramount Studios, 20th Century Fox and Todd AO. His screen credits include: Titanic, Saving Private Ryan, Austin Powers and the Big Lebowsky. Cary-Mason is also an accomplished performer and music producer. He recorded and toured with El Vez (The Mexican Elvis) and played for original Broadway cast reunion revivals of Evita and Godspell! He has recorded and/or played live with members of TOTO and Chicago, Badfinger, and the Agape International House Band.
Cary-Mason is also a Certified Raw Food Chef from the Living Light Culinary Institute and is interested is healing people in recovery through better nutrition and praise music.
Mary-Margaret (anand) Stratton, Minister
‘anand’ is modern day Renaissance woman: former creative consultant working with clients such as Canon, DreamWorks, Mattel Toys, Tommy Bahamas; author of over a dozen published books; paintings sold in both group and solo exhibits; lay architect and pivotal in several historic architecture preservation successes; written-performed-produced music that was been placed in a UNICEF commercial.
After graduating from UCLA, anand pursued decades of study in comparitive religion and is known by some followers as the “Good Wiccan.” But she is better known as a devout follower of the red letters of Yashua after she took the vows of an Essene Minister in 2011. In alignment with Genesis 1:29, anand is a Certified Raw Food Nutritionist and is passionate about getting people back to the Garden to once again walk with Him.
